The Lech Trail

Long-distance hiking along the last wild one

The Lechweg offers a unique experience of nature, people shaped by the landscape and truly legendary stories. The hiker accompanies the Lech River for around 125 kilometres. From its source near the Formarinsee lake, about 20 minutes from our house, in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg, to the Lech Falls in Füssen in the Allgäu.

Lech Cycle Path

Cycling along the Lech

The Lechtal Cycle Path is an easy route through one of the most unspoilt valleys in Central Europe.
The route, which stretches over 4 stages and 52 km from Reutte to Steeg, goes along alluvial forests and gravel banks of the Lech, as well as along mountain meadows and field paths and through agricultural land used by mountain farmers.
