Winter

The Flexenbahn opens in winter 2016/17 and makes skiing on the Arlberg even more versatile and comfortable. With the new connecting lift between Zürs and Stuben/Rauz, skiers will then be able to reach all the towns on the Arlberg easily and comfortably on skis – from St. Anton and St. Christoph via Stuben, Zürs, Lech and Oberlech to Schröcken and Warth. This increases the variety and thus the winter sports pleasure on the Arlberg to a new unbelievable dimension: Ski Arlberg will become the largest connected ski area in Austria, where winter sports enthusiasts will then have 305 km of ski runs and 87 lifts and cable cars at their disposal!

Warth-Schröcken is the ski area with the most natural snow in Europe. Thanks to its high altitude and numerous north-facing slopes, the Schneegarant am Arlberg awaits its guests with a unique quality of snow from December to April.

Leisurely or sporty?
As far as the eye can see, the 190 km of cross-country ski trails wind through the Lech Valley. Glide leisurely and enjoy nature or skate at a sporty pace. Cross-country skiing is one of the healthiest sports of all: cross-country skiing is particularly easy on the joints and at the same time the perfect whole-body workout, as almost all muscle groups are used.
